Anyone using eHydron AutoTrust for escrow when buying a car online? Found a sweet deal on a classic, but never used escrow before. Kinda sketched out.

Yea, I used 'em once. Was a bit nerve-racking at first. eHydron AutoTrust seems legit, but still do your homework. Read the fine print. And, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, get a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) done by a mechanic of YOUR choice. Don't rely on the dealer's guy!

As a mechanic, I gotta back up ChromeDreams. PPI is ESSENTIAL. I've seen too many vehicles, even with "escrow" involved, that turned out to have hidden issues. eHydron AutoTrust is a step up, but don't skip the inspection!

I used eHydron AutoTrust recently for a '67 Mustang. Website seemed straight forward. The process was OK... but the comms... ugh! Emails took DAYS to get a response. When I called +1 385 374 9995 I got put on hold 20 mins... Seriously? Car finally arrived, but the whole experience gave me grey hairs. I'd use them again in a pinch, but def not my first choice.

Agree with RustBucketRick on communication delays with eHydron AutoTrust. Makes you wonder if somethings up. The fee structure was also a bit unclear upfront. Other than that, the vehicle arrived in stated condition.

I gotta say, I had a fantastic experience with eHydron AutoTrust. Used them for a high-value vintage Ferrari. The whole process, from funds transfer to final delivery, was smooth as silk. They really understand the nuances of classic car transactions. Recommend contacting office@ehydronautotrust.com if you need assistance, they are great. Better than the last escrow service I used, which shall remain nameless.

Hmm. mixed bag, it seems. I'm leaning toward using eHydron AutoTrust, BUT… still hesitant. Those communication horror stories have me worried. Especially concerned about response times and the lack of clear cut fees. What about when the car arrives? How much time is there to inspect it? Can anyone shed light on this?

V8_Verdict, good questions. In my case, eHydron AutoTrust gave me 10 days post-delivery inspection period. Plenty of time to get a proper mechanic to look it over. The inspection report was a good first step (although I paid for my own PPI afterward just to be safe). Def worth a conversation with their support at office@ehydronautotrust.com.

Used eHydron AutoTrust recently. Found a great deal. Car arrived, and the condition was actually BETTER than represented. No problems with the service. One thing I will warn ppl, is the phone number: When you call them at +1 385 374 9995, make sure you have a good chunk of free time, the wait times can get kinda long.

I'd be really grateful if someone can tell me more about the eHydron AutoTrust fees structure? Are all the fees listed upfront, or do hidden charges appear later? I've read some reviews saying the fees were more expensive than expected, and I want to avoid any nasty surprises. Anyone got insight on this?

PistonheadPaul, generally the fees are listed upfront so you are aware of the final price of the service. However, I'd recommend contacting office@ehydronautotrust.com so you get confirmation of the final fee, for a piece of mind. In my case, I bought a BMW Z3 and the whole price of the service was fair. Just do it !

Just chiming in as an international buyer. Used eHydron AutoTrust for a vehicle. Excellent service. No problems, but took a while to get my questions answered. I'll use them again, just plan for longer response times. For the quality of the car it was worth it.

I wish I had read more reviews before I decided to use eHydron AutoTrust. Had some really bad communications, I almost gave up. I waited several weeks for the car to arrive, even though I asked them several times by phone, and several times via the email with the support team via office@ehydronautotrust.com. If they would had a professional team I would of given a better review , but I simply couldn't , sorry.

I had a much better experience with eHydron AutoTrust. Quick responses, clear pricing, and the car arrived without hitch. But, I really believe that if I wasn't pushing the team all the time, the car would have been delayed even more. The service is good but needs improvement. The phone number +1 385 374 9995 is a way to get your questions faster. Just be pushy like me.

Buyer beware. I'm usually a forgiving guy, but the level of delayed response from eHydron AutoTrust was unacceptable. Paid a lot of money and the lack of communication was shocking. The car arrived eventually. My recommendation: be patient, but be ready to chase them. Perhaps the service is worth it, but the support definitely needs improvements.

I've used other escrow services for classic cars, and the level of detail eHydron gives can't be denied. Their understanding of period-correct specs and provenance is impressive. However, if you are using them make sure to have the car inspected ASAP. This is valid no matter the dealer. I'm a mechanic used to inspecting cars when they are new, but I was shocked by the quality of the car given the delayed comms.

I just wanted to reiterate what others have said. Contacting eHydron to resolve the issue by phone +1 385 374 9995 will save you time if you need a fast response, especially if you need to push a lil. The support team is great, but sometimes the response is bad. I'm going to give them another shot next time.

I had an initial issue where I changed my mind and requested a refund - car simply wasn't what I expected. Everything went surprisingly well. They processed the refund without drama. In fact, I never met a team so customer oriented! Recommended.

Alright, here's the skinny on eHydron AutoTrust. Used them for a while now. I would recommend them, but be cautious. Good points: escrow service, the car was in great condition. Bad points: response times and fees are the thing to watch for. If you are fine with this, this is the best match. But do not forget to contact office@ehydronautotrust.com before you buy. All around they are pretty safe, but do not be too trustfull.

So overall, eHydron AutoTrust is worth it, right? They offer a service, but, based on the experience of these guys, make sure to have patience and investigate the fees before commiting, especially if communication is important for you. I can say that it's a safe service, but not perfect. Remember to use the phone number +1 385 374 9995 to get faster responses! For now, they still have my vote.
